“Every year we fondly remember our colleague Gavin Elrick with this prize. Gavin had a long and successful career focussed on improving the productivity and sustainability of Scottish agriculture and land use.
“While Sarah is at an earlier stage in her career, this award is a sign that she is already making a difference and is highly regarded by colleagues and clients alike.”
Commenting on her prize, Sarah Erbanova said:
“I feel very humbled but also thrilled to be nominated for the Elrick Prize. It’s a great privilege to be recognised with this award in honour of an environmentalist and a respected colleague Gavin Elrick.
“It’s also a great motivation for me to continue my career in sustainability. I’ll aim to at least match the significant positive impacts Gavin and the previous prize nominees have had in the rural sector.”
