Aileen Buchanan

I am based in Elgin and now manage the By-product management service. After completing my degree and masters in Aberdeen I started my career with SAC Consulting in Benbecula in 1988 and moved over to Elgin in 1995, where I have been ever since.

I worked in general consultancy gaining a wide range of skills developing an expertise and interest in organic farming. Over the last few years, I have developed my interest in by-product management primarily paragraph 7 exemptions, and I now concentrate on this area. Working with a wide range of clients from large multi-national companies to individual farmers on a daily basis.

I lead a small, dedicated team and co-ordinate work throughout SAC Consulting. If I am unavailable my colleague Darlene Walker, also based in Elgin, will be happy to help.
