Registered Veterinary Nurse

The Company:

Scottish Vet Referrals (SVR) is a dedicated veterinary referral centre located in the beautiful surroundings of the Inverness Campus.

We are the only independent referral practice in the North of Scotland, owned by the partners.

We currently provide cardiorespiratory, CT scanning, dermatology, eye testing, internal medicine and oncology, ophthalmology and orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery services; delivering dedicated expertise with state of the art specialist equipment in a custom-designed facility.

For the future, our desire is to augment our team with veterinary surgeons who are experts in other areas of veterinary medicine. The facility has been designed to accommodate this expansion in service and expertise.

The Candidate:

Candidates should be a minimum of one year qualified. Experience in referral practice is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

• Be driven to develop knowledge and skills, and share them, by partaking in focused personal CPD and in-house clinical meetings
• Be supportive of colleagues
• Communicate fully with all members of the team to make sure colleagues are kept abreast of developments
• To work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.

The Package:

• Full time (40 hours per week), part time considered
• Working hours between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
• Out of hours/weekend duties are infrequent and shared
• RCVS fees paid
• Generous CPD budget
• Salary commensurate with experience.
